Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam is a professional dancer, choreographer, actor, and director, Shahrokh is best described as a multidisciplinary artist. He has created "Seven Pavilions of Love" by Nezami and "Khayam's Quarantines" based on the poetry of the grand Persian poet Omar Khayam, and graced the stages of Europe and the US with his performances.
He has worked with some of the greatest directors of our time such as Arian Mnouchkine, Phillippe Adrien, Christophe Rauck, Jerome Deschamps and Jean Mari villegier.Shahrokh directed "Zohreh and Manouchehr" by Iraj Mirza. His mixed background and training in dance and theatre has earned him a unique style by creating a fusion of different kinds of dances.
His choreography, usually based on Persian classical music brings Persian myths, poetry, and dance together to create an atmosphere of magical quality. Shahrokh's latest work Kafan-e-siah was performed in Europe the USA and Canada with success.
He is presently employed by "La Comedie Francaise". In October 2006 he received the Persian Golden Lioness Award as the best Ballet Dancer;
