Monireh Maleki

Monireh Maleki was born in Kurdistan, Persia in 1965. She is graduated in Fine Arts and holds an M.S degree in Play Literature from Cinema and Theater faculty of Tehran University.

She started her carrier in 1992 as a Costume Designer for a play called "KHOROOSAK -E- PARISHAN" (worried Rooster), directed by Davood Kianian.

She has designed over 20 Stages and Costumes in places such as Tehran National Hall, Bahman Cultural Center Hall, and Tehran University Hall.

Amongst her outstanding works we can name assisting for Stage design for "MISERABLES" by: Victor Hugo and "THE SONG OF PROTEGES SCARE CROW" by: Peter Vice.

Monireh's professional activity is not limited to Theater and has had successful co-operation with Cinema and Television as well. She designed stages and costumes for short films and films such as; "MAHI DOKHTAR" (Female Fish), directed by F. Kamkari; "TARKEH" (Branch/Sticker) and "MAYKADE" (Bar) both directed by Dr. Sadeghi and "LITTLE LUCKY" directed by B. Noori.

Monireh is also teaching Theater History at Asar and Mehravaran Institutes and lecturing Stage Designing at Shariati University.
